I'm a mechanical engineer at Coherent. I get to design tooling and fixtures and develop processes in the development of laser crystals. I also design assemblies that actually hold the crystals in the end lasers. I love to design cool things and toys in 3d CAD software like solidworks and post it to GRABCAD. I like watching action, comdey and sci-fi movies, series and anime. I like playing RPG's, MMO's and open world games like WoW, Skyrim, Diablo and ARK. I love animals, I have a dog named Sampson and I don't know what I'd do without him. I have a nice little house with almost an acre of land near a lake with a stream in my backyard. I love working outside in my yard and I enjoy planning out and taking on projects that may be bigger than one person can handle alone. I'm not the most spontaneous person alive and It's often noticed how quiet and reserved I am. It takes a lot to get me to open up to someone. I am definitely an introvert, almost to the max. I am really bad an figuring out how to start a conversation, but I can quickly catch up and keep the ball rolling once its started. I am honest, loyal and a good listener. I am not very adventurous on my own, but that doesn't mean I'm not willing to try something new if there's someone there to face the music with me.

I'm not really sure. Something food related I guess in a public, but not overly crowded place. Then something where we could continue talking but with the option to be temporarily distracted so I can gather my thoughts to try and reduce the number of stupid things I will likely say. Something like bowling or mini-golf maybe. With this I'm really open to suggestions.

I would like to learn another language. I'm thinking Japanese and/or German. Both because I would like to maybe vacation there one day. Plus the German would help with work when our internal customers are yelling at us during our conference calls. I would also like to try playing D&D. I'm willing to try anything at least once, but I prefer to avoid activities that would require a lot of large groups of people or being in crowded areas. The exception to this would maybe be a renaissance fair or comic con. I would like to maybe try making a costume for one of those sometime maybe.

I have a good job and a clear path forward. I like it there, its close by and i feel secure there. I like my house, the location and there's room to expand if needed. I didn't get the man-cave I wanted as I only have a crawl space and no garage...yet, but its a beautiful area with relatively nice people around. So I have a good job, and a nice house and my dog so I would like to find an equal partner to share it with.
